Celebrating Easter week--(my Woodland Tabletop nest)

Easter is one of my most special times to display my Woodland Tabletop nest.  Of all the nests that I have created (and I have made a few!) this nest is one of my all time favorites...

we have a large group of naturalized daffodils

in the wooded section 

of our back yard... 

I'm always looking for opportunities

to photograph

in the woods...

 this has been the longest winter...

for so many reasons.

I don't think I have ever longed for 

spring as I have this year.. 

 every year,

 usually in December...

I pack my car with overnight supplies

in case bad weather forces me to

be stranded at work. 

usually,

 it takes me about 40 minutes

to drive to the hospital where I work...

I'm terrified of driving on slick roads in winter,

so if it snows or the roads get icy while I am at work,

I just plan to stay at a hotel close by..

just yesterday...

I unpacked my car and put away

my winter supplies!

 for me--

it is now officially SPRING!

My latest Design - The Woodland Table top nest

With the arrival of spring I am welcoming my latest in the Woodland nest series - the Tabletop nest.   

This latest design measures a full 15 inches in circumference and is over 5 inches tall.  Perfect for Easter decor, Mother's Day or just to welcome the arrival of spring~~

This nest belongs to my friend Mary - it was her birthday gift from me.  She has filled it with Easter eggs for the holiday. 

 The nest in this photo is mine - I've filled my beautiful nest with spring eggs- but the possibilities are endless. 

   

 These nests will definitely make a statement as accent pieces in your home.

They would be a perfect table decoration

 for baby and bridal

showers. 

 

They are available as a custom order only.  You should expect that it might take me up to 3 weeks to create this design. 

 The Woodland series continues to grow!

I am almost finished with my winter nesting!! I started last November and I am now working on the last 5 nests.  When I am finished - we will be doing the Happy Happy dance!  Of course - as always, I have saved the last one for YOU!  Be watching for that little celebration!
