From me to you ~xoxoxo

Waiting for spring,
  Longing for flowers,
     Sending you love and hugs and smiles~

Just a hint of spring in this photo above --
 the daffodils are trying~~

I'm sharing with you all this beautiful
"bouquet"of cookies~

These were actually a birthday gift
 to my best friend Mary~
but they are so beautiful --
I wanted to share them with you  too!

Don't they make you long for spring?
Are they NOT the cutest things you have ever seen?

I will confess that after I took the photos,
and before I gave these to Mary~~
(I ate one of the little flowers!)
(OK - really, I ate two of them.)
(shhhh-- don't tell!!)

Those of you who know me best~
know that I am obsessed with beautifully decorated
cookies.
(I don't want to make them--)
are you kidding me!!
 I just want to HAVE them!!

Actually -- I'm fine with not even eating them--
I could just look at these cookies
and be happy!
(and take pictures, of course!)
~~
But - trust me --
these are delicious!!

I love these beautiful cookies so much --
 that I really am going to share them
 with you!!
~~~
Visit me here later this summer~
  when I'll be giving away
 one of these lovely cookie "bouquets"
 to one of my devoted
followers!
If you want your very own cookie "bouquet"
you can find them here.
~~
you can email Krista about her fabulous cookies here~
cookiekrista11@gmail.com
It's official!
Yeller Feller is a total pest!
You might as well get used to seeing him here~~
he does NOT know the meaning of SCAT!!
~~~
I'm STILL waiting on the daffodils to bloom  -- waiting, waiting, waiting.  It's supposed to snow this weekend!!! Eventually, I will be here with my HUGE (and beautiful) Vera Grateful Giveaway!
 (OR -- we could just all sit here and eat these gorgeous cookies!)

xoxoxo,
Vicki

  5. Vicki, thanks so much for the link up! You took the most beautiful pictures of the cookies. I am so glad you tasted them and liked them! I do strive for both a pretty cookie and a great tasting one. No one wants a hard yucky cookie.
    Thanks again!! I hope they bring a smile to your friend! :)

  8. To add to your talents, you are a cookie artist. Way too pretty to eat, but if they taste as good as they look, I guess you can consider them a Day Lilly, blooming for just a few hours.

  10. Oh how did I miss your post on Beautiful Avila and her gorgeous Spring garden party hat. So very precious. We had some Spring and my daffodils bloomed and then we had a horrendous rain storm that destroyed my beautiful flowers. Sunshine Smiles Dear...

  12. I'm just blown away by the talent of bakers these days...don't remember anything that lovely when I was young and a cake for a birthday was either a not-so-yummy concoction or a box mix from Mom! And cookies? Never that beautiful. I'm so impressed and how lucky for your friend to receive that little bit of Spring goodness! I'm sure she'll love it. We're getting snow this weekend also, but still hoping for a Spring warm up sometime!

  40. As always Vicki, I've enjoyed another post of yours. I love it here!

    Love the flower cookie bouquet. I just wonder how long one would last at my house! Especially if it were a day when our grandson Matthew were here! They certainly are beautiful though.

    We have lots of things blooming here now. All the spring bulb flowers. Flowering shrubs and even some garden perennials are in bloom. Loving it.

  41. What a brilliant idea. I've never seen a cookie bouquet and I usually think of myself as Mr Smartypants who has seen it all!
    I'm sure Mary will be thrilled with her gift even though you've been scoffing them already:)

  43. These wonderful cookies, with their beautiful pastel colors, do make me wish that the weather around here would get spring-like and stay that way for awhile. That little "Ball" jar is so cute. I wonder,did they taste as good as they look?!

  44. Wow! Those are COOKIES??? Awesome! They look incredible... What a wonderful gift to give and receive.

    Spring is very far off up here too - way too much snow yet to melt away. So much, that we don't WANT it melting too quickly or we'll have a huge flood.

    Thanks for your "Springy" photos for brightening my day!
