I think that I have just found

we were in the midst of a blizzard~
more than 15 inches of snow
covered our world in a blanket

in the middle of a blizzard?)
because I love this yarn SO much...
I am going to giveaway two beautiful skeins
of this yarn to one of you...

February is upon us...
the shortest month of the year.  I always feel that once February is here, we are closer to March, and that March brings us closer to spring. Its that little trick that I do that makes me think that winter is almost over...
I've been doing lots of knitting, (of course!) and will have some new projects to share soon. I have watched some great shows while I am clicking away at my needles....
Downton Abbey, of course...(I'm so sad that it is ending)
Anzac Girls (have you seen it?  I thought it was wonderful!!)
Call the Midwife...(I am so behind on this one, and loving every minute of it!)
Some books that I recently finished and loved...
Circling the Sun, Along the Infinte Sea, and the Milliner's Secret.
All were wonderful books that I could hardly put down -- perhaps you will love them too...
For those of us still in the midst of winter... hang on just a bit longer...spring will be here soon!
Love
Vicki

ps--
I'll be sharing some of these photos
later today on my Instagram page
"2 BagsFull"...
if you are an IG person,
I would love for you to follow me there

and to share this with your
friends who follow you on
Instagram...

  35. Hi. My name is Ruth. I'm addicted to yarn. I came to this meeting not to find a way to cure my addiction, but rather to brag and announce I have no intention of curbing my collection. If anyone in the room wants to pare down their stash (as part of the withdrawal) I have a empty car trunk waiting to be filled. ----smiles and sits down----- When are the cookies and coffee being served?

Want to leave a comment but you can leave me out of the race. I wouldn't know what to do with the yarn. Haha. Let a knitt-er/crochet-er have my chance.

With yet another yarn shop closing here in my city it looks like more and more the ability to fondle quality yarns before buying will be a thing of the past here in Brisbane Australia.

  64. I thought the yarn had little crystals on it and now I'm assuming that's snow?! We haven't had that much snow all year..really weird for Ohio. I don't knit but my Granddaughter has learned and I bought her some lovely yarn for Christmas...I had to get someone to go with me because I know nothing about yarn! So she would love this I'm sure! I'm loving our mild Winter and it's making the wait for Spring easier but I so love Easter and can't wait for that! Take Care!

  71. Hi, just found you! I don't knit or crochet, but I did crochet a double bed afghan for myself while in high school (white, and 2 different light blues) I am 55 now and have it packed away, as usual, because my family always includes cats and dogs and I want to pass it on to our son. He will be 16 in March. Anyway, I would love to win some yarn, especially if it's as soft as you say! I have a neuro condition that makes it hurtful if the fabric is not soft, so my friend could knit me something! Unless I give it a try. Thanks for sharing and for putting on your contest! Germaine from Ontario, Canada where it is winter here too.
