I am impressed !
Any day now my very first grandchild will be born . A baby-girl and it is like long ago ....
When I was pregnant everywhere I looked I saw pregnant women and baby's ....
All of that is happening again .
Only this time the grandmother-part is everywhere .....
To me a whole new world .........
It's comforting a lot of women are going ahead of me being amazing grandmothers , doing amazing things ......
Your everyday-life is blessed my friend !
Have a great time !
All the best for you from me .

Dearest Vicki,
I am so excited to see the nests in their entirety. These beautiful images were sooooooooooooooo enticing and too much of a tease! :) Your creations are extraordinarily beautiful!!!! What a fabulous shower gift they will make!

I do hope you are enjoying fair weather. We are readying for our first great storm of the season. We are promised winds, quarter-sized hail, thunder and lightening, and perhaps, twisters! YIKES! Not a bird is chirping on this unusually still morning ... surely, it is the calm before the storm!

Hi, Vicky,

Well we never got to meet up at the Fair in Maryland. My mom was released from rehab that morning. So I got to the fair around 11:00. Then my cousin and I were "on a mission" to get to the stuff we wanted so we could get back home again.

I assume you got there. I would love to hear about your trip and what you got. A comment on my blog would be fine. I did take pictures of my stuff. For 3-4 hours at the Fair, I was certainly able to spend money quickly. :-)

How utterly delightful, how beautiful! Thanks so much for visiting the Marmelade Gypsy (or actually, I think you came to Chopsticks and String, my other blog) -- it led me to you! I'm a knitter as well and while I'm in a bit of a slump, I love the inspiration! I will indeed be back!

Vicki,
These are going to be amazing I know. Love all the beautiful yarns & the star beads (or buttons) & the little cresent mooms & eggs...wow can't wait to see.
As for the charity. I'll bet I know. I'm just guessing of course, might be wrong. I'm thinking it's one that is very close to my heart as well because of my kids. We'll see.
