My Spring Celebration - (Nest Give away!)

I made my nests, did my very best- (maybe bit off more than I could chew)!! But- now they're done, let's have some fun- I'm giving one away to YOU!! I'm done - I'm done - I'm done!!! 4 months and 47 nests later - I am done!! (I must surely have been out of my mind~~!!)
Spring is finally here and I am rejoicing in the glow of the sun and the gusty warm spring breezes~

Does this little "neck of the woods" look familiar to you? This is the same place that I did the "Winter Nesting" photo shoot a few months ago - when it was covered in snow and freezing outside!

Hundreds of beautiful daffodils are welcoming you all to my "Spring Celebration"~

However - SOME OF YOU have your email specifications set so that I cannot reply to you - the dreaded "no reply blogger". Please take a minute to check your email profile in your blogger account and correct this if you wish. It would make it so much easier for me to reply to your comments.

~

Next up- those cruise photos just keep on coming~

I'll take you all to one of the Caribbean's best kept secrets~

the colorful and captivating island of Curacao.

Vicki, though I am a very proud owner of one of your nests I would be over-the-moon to add another one of your charmed homes to my collection!

What I love about spring is the sights and sounds of earth's awakening. The birds sing brighter, the sun shines more illuminantly, and the bouquet of crisp fragrances are scintillating! It's a bit like magic!

I hope your are enjoying the unstrapping of springtide!

Spring brings with it the promise of fresh grass, new flowers, a renewal of spirit and a promise of the hot, lemonade days of Summer. Fat robins are now hopping across my lawn looking for earthworms and the cottontails have joined in the dance.
Your bird nests remind me that so much is possible if we just put our hearts into our creations. They are breathtaking!

Happy Spring and jelly beans!

Wow! What an amazing amount of comments! Your knitted nest is spectacular!
Spring is always the new year's way of saying: 'I'm here! Enjoy the pleasant weather, the birds, the wild meadow flowers, the beautiful growth, and fresh mountain streams that roar into rivers. The buzzing of the bees that spread pollen so we will be able to enjoy the fruit of their labor on into summer when we make jams and jellies from the abundance fruit. It means the prom, and graduation, and eating watermelon, the Fourth of July, and fireworks, and backyard barbaques, baseball, and swimming in the pool.' That's what spring brings.
Cheers!

Spring is the promise of new things, it is a time for smiles as each day you see new glimpses of colour. The first daffodil makes my heart sing! The day I spotted a carpet of violets under a tree in the park on my way home from work gave me such delight.

I'm a new follower. Your nests are dazzling. What I love most about Spring? Hmmm, so many things. The surprise of waking up one day to be surrounded by green, being able to open my windows at last, the flowers and of course starting my vegetable garden.

Thanks to Dulcy for letting me know about your blog and its wonderful giveaway. I would love to throw my spring bonnet into the mix to receive one.

I know it's spring here when the azaleas blanket this town with their beautiful blossoms. I think everyone in town has at least two azalea bushes in their garden, and some have hundreds.

Your nest would be the icing on the cake.

Your nests are absolutely fantastic, there is so much detail in every one. Seeing birds building nests in trees is just one of the things that reminds me of spring. Seeing new surprises every day on my walk from work, the other day I spotted wild violets under a tree in the nature reserve. I had to go back next day with a camera. Every day brings new things to make me smile. Sue

Spring is slow to arrive here - has been unusually cool and wet - but my favourite part of the season is well underway, and that is the return of many lovely birds to our various feeders! I've seen so many kinds of finches already, and today got a closeup of my first-ever Pileated Woodpecker. Very exciting!

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your travel pics...:)

What I love most about spring is HOPE. After months of darkness and cold, I am reminded that behind every dark cloud is a blue sky and that even when things look dull and dead, Jesus lives and life will always return - here on earth and in heaven when we depart this earth!

Dear Vicki

What I really love about these special nest creations is the fact that they are the birthing place for precious new life. They are symbolic of a dedicated father who spends hours and hours gathering the right material to make their nest strong. To withstand the worst of weathers. The Mother who spends days and days sitting keeping her eggs warm. The hatchlings that spend many hours in their nest cosy, happy , secure and well fed. These nest are far more than just nests . They are home.

Having just started our Winter season, I am already looking forward to Spring. I keep saying to myself that I have to go through Winter to really appreciate the Season of Spring. A time of renewal. Fresh smells and new color~ exciting!

Thank you for your generocity and I won't be calling you 'Dumb'...just one on a mission~!

Warm regards
Suzanne
