Winter Delights

Wintery treasures,
         beautifully accented with embroidery and
                           beaded embellishments~~

      finally,
I'm able to share with you
the wintery delights
that have kept me so very busy
these past few months~

there's been a whirlwind
of knitting, beading, and stitching
here in my
Sacred Yarn room
these past days!
~~
all the little treasures
are listed now in

 the Penelope slouch hat

beautiful cables --
(my favorite knitting stitch!)
beaded flowers in a variety of colors

I've so enjoyed
knitting with these beautiful yarns
they are super soft and
a delight to touch~

 The Elizabeth slouch hat

~ if this hat is purchased
as a symbol of Breast Cancer Awareness,
I will be happy to add a little
beaded BCA ribbon symbol
as a gift from me~

The Eleanor Slouch hat

both stunning and elegant--
this vintage inspired slouch hat
is embellished with a little bit
 of bling!

The Lynette Slouch hat

knitted from my very own
variety of mixed yarns--
the embellishments circle the entire
width of the hat~

the Allison slouch hat

beautiful yarn is a mixture
of denim friendly hues--
embellished with winter white beaded accents
~
this hat also features
an exquisite cable stitch~

the Isabel Slouch hat

more of my own mixed yarn strand--
(featuring shades of brown, cream, maroon, gray, lavender)
~~
embellished with beaded flower accents
and a little vintage bling!

the Mabel Slouch hat

 an incredible yarn
accented with metallic gold threads--
beautifully embellished
with tan beaded flowers all around
the base of the hat~

  the Audrey Slouch hat

more of my special yarn mix
(did I tell you that I strung yarns from one end of this room to the other??!!)
~~
wispy vines and embellished leaves,
beaded flowers --
all to encircle the width of the hat~

A few very special scarves to share
with you~

winter white~

stunning--
creamy flowers with exquisite beading details
beaded leaves,
wispy vines~

 teal blue~

embellished vines, blooms, and leaves
intricately detailed~

lime~

denim friendly--
(aren't they all??)
beautiful beaded flowers in hues of blue~

robin's egg blue~

beaded flowers in shades of light blue,
(not sure why the lighting was off here --
but the correct hue is the middle top photo)

 Just in case you think I've not
been busy enough--
I'm also in the middle of my winter nest making--
and--
I've loaded in over 400 blogs into my
"Grow Your Blog" party post
which will debut soon
on January 25...

~~
I think there is NO hope for this yarn room
until late in the spring--
and then--
it's going to take major cleaning
to put things back into shape!

~~~I hope you are well this winter- I've been down with the crud for at least a week. Have been  watching some wonderful television --- Mr. Selfridge season 2 was incredible. Finished the entire 5 seasons of Hell on Wheels (LOVED IT!!), and I'm totally caught up on Downton Abby of course.  I'm reading The Obituary Writer and loving every minute of that one~
I hope you will visit here for the Grow Your Blog party and support those who are participating --- especially those blogs who have only a few followers -- there are some awfully nice folks who are waiting to make new friends!
Love to you all~
Vicki
ps --- I'm working on an especially beautiful and wintery post to share with you after the GYB party~ xoxo
I've responded 3 times but don't think you're receiving my response...? Yes, to helping, receiving your e-mail...BUT...if e-mail is messing up, shall we continue? I'm in a quandry...
Oh WOW Vicki, your knitting is out of this world. You must be having some angelic help or little fairies to do some of those fancy flowers and leaves. I've never seen anything so delicately knitted and so pretty.
You sure are a creative and energetic woman. You're just amazing. You never stop doing good.
All the best
Hugs & love,
JB
Beautiful wintery delights!
So sorry you aren't feeling well. I have been down for awhile but am starting to feel better. It is lack of energy from lack of light here but started on Vitamin D3.
Thanks for the book idea. I will check it out. Blessings. xx
Vicki, What can I say but they are beautiful. I would have a hard time picking just one they are that pretty. I am glad that you are feeling better. It can really knock you on your backside. I have manage to escape what is still going around the nursing home. I haven't seen some so I don't know whether they are in the hospital or what.
I am looking forward to Jan. 25th.
I enjoyed your trip so much. It made me feel as though I was there with you. Take care. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend Shirley
